The Mundy Township Parks and Recreation Committee is proud to announce that the Mundy's Saturday Farmers' Market will start on, Saturday, August 16, 2008 and run through Saturday, October 25, 2008, and will be open from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Purpose: The Mundy Township Farmers' Market will be a place where a person can connect with the local community and our resources for healthy living. We are committed to developing: a network of farmers who provide fresh, wholesome food, a safe place with a sense of community, and a strong, attractive market for buyers.

On Monday, November 12, 2007, at the Regular Board Meeting, the Township Board cleared the way for a senior citizen discount for certain Sewer fees.

Specific criteria must be met:

1. Proof/Identification that you are over 62 years of age. (You, or your spouse.)
2. Verify your residence qualifies under the Homestead Exemption.
   

Discounts apply to the following only:

1. 10% (ten percent) off of the Ready to Serve Fee (for those residents that qualify). This fee applies to residents that obtain water from the public water system.
   
2. 10% (ten percent) off of the Flat Fee (for those residents that qualify). This fee applies to residents that obtain their water from a private well.
