Hours of Operation

The Mundy Township Police Department is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The office will be closed on weekends and holidays. However, police service is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, by calling 911 for assistance. A call to 911 should be placed on weekends, holidays, and anytime the office is closed.

Gun Permits

Gun permits and registrations are done only at the Genesee County Sheriff's Department.

The Office

Call the office if you have already filed a police report with an officer and need a copy of the report or general information on a complaint. You can also call the office for general information.

Voice Mail System

You can call after business hours and follow the prompts to leave a message. Remember, if you leave a voice mail message, it may not be reviewed for several days until the office is open or the officer returns to duty.

Q: What is the location of the Police Department?

A: The Mundy Township Police Department is located at Grand Blanc and Jennings Road. This is between Torrey and Linden Roads.

A: Fees are as follows:

Copies of reports: $ 5.00

Impound / Abandoned Autos $35.00

Fatal Crash Report $75.00

Liquor License Application $50.00

Liquor License - Temporary $25.00

Q: Where can I get fingerprinting and background checks completed?

A: The Mundy Township Police Department will NO longer be taking fingerprints for applicant and background checks. The State Police has contracted with L-1 Identity Solutions for processing of applicant fingerprints.
